It is better to look good…

Ha! I’m finally finessing the design of this blog to look like I want it to. The links are in the proper order, and there’s a nice Flickr thing going on in the sidebar. It’s a little light on content right now – yeah, yeah, yeah. I’ll get there. But it looks good, and that’s what’s really important, isn’t it?

I’ve been featured in an Etsy treasury, the Art of Thread Crochet. Thanks, Barbara!

Seven-eighths

So, I’m designing some even smaller jewelry. The hoops are 7/8″ in diameter. I can’t use existing patterns; they would only be the first 2-3 rounds of something larger, and they’d be boring. I have created two, but I want a third. The ones I’ve done are six-sided and petal-y, so I need one that’s different. I’ve got an eight-sided and a five-sided in the running. Crocheting this small is generally not a problem, but designing and testing in this gauge is downright painful. Here’s one of the new ones:

Patricia Waller has added some wonderful new works. And there’s knitting in there, too! Previously, she was all about the crochet. I’ve got her linked under Snark and Awe. The first site is her regular website. The second is a collection of images from a 2005 gallery show. So twisted.
